Akihabara is, by far, the most outlandish and extreme place in Tokyo, and there’s no way we’d let you miss it! Heralded as Tokyo’s center for anime, manga, games, and electronics, Akihabara, or “Akiba” as its regulars call it, has a very unique sense about it that you can only feel by going there and experiencing it for yourself. We wouldn’t let you miss it!
You will also get the chance to visit the fast-paced, modern town of Shibuya, which sits atop the fashion and music world with sister-town Harajuku. With Shibuya 109 (and 109-2), massive Tower Records (yes, it's still there) and HMV stores, and a lavishly "decorated" MANDARAKE, Shibuya is the perfect place to hang. It's also home to the famous intersection you always see in movies set in Japan!
