Sapporo Odori Park Koen

Odori Park is a 7.8-hectare park located in the center of Sapporo. Some major events in Sapporo such as the Lilac Festival, the Yosako Soran Festival, and the Snow Festival are held at this park.

Many people come to enjoy the festivals and relax when there is no event. Most of the time grilled corn is sold at street stalls in the park, it is a great summer snack.

Sapporo Beer Museum

Sapporo Beer Museum and Garden

Sapporo Beer Museum is the only beer museum in Japan. The beautiful museum building was built under the instruction of engineers from foreign countries in 1890.

You can taste freshly brewed beer with Mongolian mutton barbecue called Genghis Khan at the restaurant next to the museum.

Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill is located in front of the Sapporo Dome. From the top of the hill, you can see the whole city of Sapporo.

There is a statue of Dr. Clark raising his right arm pointing to the right. Dr. Clark is an American educator who became the vice president of Sapporo Agricultural College in 1876 and is known for the phrase “Boys, be ambitious”.

With a great view, you can enjoy a delicious mutton barbecue called Genghis Khan at the nearby restaurant.
